Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty

VELUNIQ warrants that all jewelry is free from manufacturing defects for the life of the product. If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, you may return it to us for inspection.

If we determine your merchandise is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the merchandise or, if we deem appropriate, replace the item.

What is Covered:

  • Prong tightening (recommended every year).
  • Re-polishing and cleaning.
  • Rhodium plating (for white gold rings) to restore whiteness.
  • Structural defects like porosity in the metal or casting flaws.
  • Loss of accent diamonds (under 0.05ct) due to setting defect within the first year.

What is NOT Covered (Wear and Tear):

Fine jewelry is delicate and not impervious to normal wear, activities, or trauma. Our warranty does not cover:

  • Discoloration due to exposure to chemicals, make-up, swimming pools, hot tubs, or bathing.
  • Prongs and precious metals that wear down over time and require rebuilding.
  • Bent, caught, or worn out prongs allowing a stone to fall out or be lost due to negligence or other damage.
  • Lost stone or a stone has fallen out due to chipping or breaking caused by normal wear or other damage.

Insurance Recommendation

Warranty is not insurance. We strongly recommend obtaining third-party insurance to cover against loss, theft, or physical damage (like smashing your ring against a door).

We recommend Jewelers Mutual for specialized jewelry insurance.

Lifetime Diamond Upgrade Program

Any loose diamond or "build your own" diamond ring purchased from VELUNIQ can be exchanged for credit equivalent to the original purchase price for a new diamond.

Conditions:

  • The new diamond must be at least 2x the price of the original diamond.
  • The original diamond must be in original condition with the original grading report.
  • The credit does not apply to the setting (only the main stone).

Voiding the Warranty

Please note: If another jeweler (other than VELUNIQ) resizes, repairs, or works on your jewelry in any way, our Lifetime Warranty is immediately voided. We cannot verify the quality of work done by third parties.
